Ask a new question. After downloading Citrix Receiver vs I always get an error message complete with a log: "the requested operation has failed. To see more information click View log. Contact the helpdesk and provide log information".

Launch Revo uninstaller after installing, select the program you want to uninstall or search for it using the built in search tool.
Click the Uninstall button on the toolbar This will start the uninstallation wizard for the particular program you selected. Revo uninstaller will go through a series of steps which include creating a system restore point, creating a backup of your Windows registry. Then analyze the program and run its default uninstaller, click Yes when you see the above dialog. After the uninstall is completed, you have a choice of scanning modes to select from. What this will do is let you scan for any left over files, folders and registry items from that particular program.
Safe looks in the usual places, moderate in more advanced locations while Advanced does a thorough search throughout the entire computer. After selecting your choice, I went with Advanced , click Scan.
After the scan is complete, you will see a list of registry entries left behind by the program, select them then click Finish to thoroughly remove the program from your system. The default uninstaller should work for most persons, but for those troublesome programs, the Force Uninstall feature and advanced scanning options will give you more control.

Cannot Uninstall Citrix: The requested operation has failed - Symptoms or Error
I have a malfunctioning Citrix Receiver v 4. When I click on hosted Apps the Receiver does not start and the Apps do not load. I have attempted to uninstall the Receiver both through the Control Panel, and a program called CCleaner , however I am met with the message below -. I also have a copy of the log that was produced by the Receiver when I attempted the uninstallation -.
Finally it has occurred to me that running the Receiver Cleanup Utility may help, is this advisable? Any help here will be greatly appreciated. A prompt response would be very helpful as I will be travelling soon, and really need the Receiver working whilst doing so.
I have absoluty the same Problem on two Xp Clients! The installation is corrupt and i cant uninstall it over the normal way. Only Fix it from Microsoft could help me uninstall this program.. Receiver Cleanup Utility didnt solved this problem for me! Uninstalling the corrupt Program is no more a problem for me.
Getting Errors. But this is just the first step. How do I get a working installation? When I reinstall the Receiver I am getting the same issues again. On all Clients was a previous installation of the Citrix OnlinePlugin.
We are switching from Xenapp 5 to Xenapp 7. Are there any Requirements to the Receiver? But I need. So this is no solution for me but should help to localize the problem.
Great to hear that you are making some progress; perhaps try to specify which. NET version the Citrix Receiver should use. I haven't done this, but believe that you sould be able to specify the desired. NET framework through the 'ConfigurationWizard. You need. NetFramework 3. I had only 2,3 and 4 but no 3. After Uninstalling version 4 I had no Errors after the Installation and it was possible to uninstall the Receiver through the Windows Uninstaller but I couldnt start the Receiver.
